Obituary For Ken Walker

It is with great sadness that the Walker family announces the passing of Ken Walker of Beaverlodge, AB on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the age of 69 years.

Ken will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 43 years Bernice; his children: Mark (Corrie), Darren (Navi), and Leah; and granddaughters: Hayden, and Kenley. He is also survived by his mother Kay, and brothers Jerry and Brian.

Ken was predeceased by his father Greg.

He was well known in the Beaverlodge area and when he wasn’t at the IGA, he was often on the back roads enjoying the countryside while “checking crops" with his buddies, and of course, his dog Paul.

If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, (100, 12220 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, AB, T5N 3Y4), West County Health Complex (Box 30, Beaverlodge, AB, T0H 0C0), or Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue Association (8618 91 St., Grande Prairie, AB, T8X 1V6).
