Obituary For Kenneth Chambers

Kenny Chambers passed away suddenly at his home in Grande Prairie on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at the age of 56 years.

Kenny was born in the Beaverlodge Hospital, on March 20, 1962, and was raised in the town of Wembley. You would often find him at the hockey arena or in a baseball field. He played on several baseball teams until he was in his 30s. As he got older he started spending more time on the golf course. He loved his sports.

Kenny worked most of his life in the oilfield. When he wasn’t working he liked spending time with his family; quading, sledding or socializing with his friends. He had a contagious laugh, and liked teasing the children and entertaining friends and family with his humor.

He will be sadly missed by his partner Anna Willier; parents Dale and Dorothy Chambers; children Terrance Chambers and Tasha Alexandre; grandchildren: Tommy, Ty, Torrie, and Jace; siblings: Jerry (Brenda) Chambers, Sandy (Murray) Head, and Barbie (Darren) Dunbar; as well as his nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at 1:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
