Obituary For Kenneth McKay

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth Allen McKay on April 25, 2016, formerly of Beaverlodge, son of Robert McKay and Lillie walker.

He leaves to mourn wife Shirley of 49 years, son Martin (Liz) Ronan McKay, son Kent (Carol), Damon (Britney), Dallas Jonah, Bailie, daughter Kena (Mark) Cora (Mike) Rhys, great-grandson Daxton McKay, also sister in-law Theresa (Gordon) Valarie McKay and family and Allen McKay and family.

Ken was predeceased by infant daughter Andrea 1967, father Bob McKay 1979, mother Lillie McKay 2015, brother Dick McKay 2001, father in-law Henry Tollefsrud 1982, mother in-law Louise Tollefsrud 1984, brother in-law Arthur Tollefsrud 1993 and sister in-law Fern Tollefsrud 2011.

There will be no funeral at this time, but a celebration of life will be announced later this summer.

    Kent and Kena I am so terribly sorry to have read your father's obit all the way down here in BC. My sincere condolences to you and your families he was such a cute happy man. He could always make me smile like you kids could always make me smile. Know I am honored to have been given the opportunity to have briefly known him and having the time we had through middle and high school. All my love and positive loving energy sending out to your mom and families at this most life changing time. He was a lovely soul again my honor to have known him.
