Lauretta Marie Reist (nee Valleé), resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Prairie Lake Seniors Community, at the age of 96 years.

Lauretta was born on May 8, 1924. She enjoyed doing things for her family and friends. Quilting was her passion to the end and many are all around the country. She saw beauty in all nature and crafts which she shared with all.

She is survived by her brother Herve' Valleé; sisters Florence Pampu, Katania Lovick; their children: Dennis Hing, Linda Woodcock, Louis Hing, Sharon Voytko, Terry Harris, Patricia Steffen, Carl Reist, Julie Couturier; as well as nineteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; and will be missed by all her family and friends.

Lauretta was Predeceased by her husband’s Gordon Wayne Reist and Lin Hing; and son Richard Reist.
