It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Lavern Donald Love, resident of Grande Priarie, AB, who passed on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the age of 62 years.

Lavern was born on January 2, 1962, to Bill and Irene Love in Grande Prairie. Lavern was a loving and supportive father, a hardworking man and dedicated provider to his family.

He will be remembered for his humour, strength and unwavering love for his family. Lavern will never be forgotten and will forever be missed.

Lavern will be sadly missed by his children: Michael and Nicole Love; parents: Bill and Irene Love; sister Yvonne (Barry) Yaremcio; as well as many other dear family member and friends.

A Memorial Service and luncheon will be held for Lavern on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10:00 am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home (10005 – 107 Ave).

Interment will follow at the Grande Prairie Cemetery (84 Ave and 112 St.)
