Obituary For Lawrence Anthony Landry
Lawrence “Lorry” Anthony Landry, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Grovedale, AB, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 81 years.
Lorry was born in Grande Prairie on October 28, 1940, the fourth youngest of ten children. He was raised in the Macklinville area of Grande Prairie.
He was loved by all his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren; even though he teased and played jokes on all of them. Lorry loved taking his beloved wife Penny on drives all over the Peace Country.
Lorry will be sadly missed by his wife Penelope Diane Landry; eldest son Charles (Crystal) Landry; daughter in-law Tanya; sister Kathy; brother Eugene (Betty); brother in-law Dennis; as well as grandchildren: Nathan, Justen, McKayla and Madisyn.
Lorry was predeceased by his father and mother Frank and Joan Landry; sons Russell and Christopher; sisters: Delia, Mary, Denise and Patricia; as well as brothers: Joe, Dale and Fred.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
