Lawrence John Wilson, resident of Wanham, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in Edmonton, AB, at the age of 56 years.

Lawrence was born in Grande Prairie on June 16, 1961. He was raised on a farm south of Wanham and attended Wanham school, graduating in 1979. After school, he started working seismic, then went into truck driving for various companies in the Peace Country.

He was very outgoing, friendly, and talkative. He enjoyed photography, computers, books, cooking, fishing and camping.

Lawrence will be sadly missed by his Mother: Mabel Lebeuf and Step Mother: Corinne Wilson; Sister: Lorraine Sallis, Brothers: Larry, Dale (Margaret), Kevin (Violet), and Colin (Gisele); as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a great-niece, and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandmother Mary Wilson, father David Wilson, and brother in-law Ben Sallis.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018, at 1:00pm at COCO Hall in Wanham, AB.
