Obituary For Lee Jason Fournier

Lee Jason Fournier, resident of Edmonton, AB, formerly of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at the age of 54 years.

Lee was born in the St. Theresa Hospital, Fort Vermilion, AB, on March 25, 1966. He was born to Mary Jane and John Fournier. At a young age the family moved to Grande Prairie. He attended St. Clements Catholic School and finished at the Grande Prairie Composite High School. Lee worked at various oil and construction companies throughout his life.

He was known to be a calm person and persistent when something needed fixed. Lee enjoyed working on cars. He was always working with his hands, fixing anything he could, he was a jack-of-all-trades.

Lee will be sadly missed by his sons: Wynston Flett, Jason Fournier and Jesse Fournier; granddaughter Rose Flett; brothers: Mark (Donna) Fournier, Dwight Fournier, Stuart Fournier, and Carl Fournier; father John Fournier; as well as his close friends Prima Jacob, Tracy Mcintosh, and former wife Joyce Fournier.

He was predeceased by his mother Mary Jane Fournier.

A Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at 7:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021, at 10:00am at Oliver’s Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Grande Prairie Cemetery (84 Ave. & 112 St.).

    My heartfelt condolences go out to John, losing a child is diffucult ❤🙏❤ Mark, Stewart, Carl, losing a brother is a diffcult to go thorough 🙏❤🙏, know that having your mom be there in heaven to greet Lee home bring you some comfort in dealing with your huge lose. To Lee's boys and granddaughter, my heart and prayers of comfort to each of you. To all friends and family condolences to you all. That was a beautiful service, God bless you all 🙏❤🙏
