Obituary For Levi Bradley Allan
Leviticus was born on November 6, 2003, in Hinton AB, to Stacey Gauvreau and Brad Allan. He spent his early years in Hinton along with his sister Baylee Allan before relocating to Grande Prairie, AB, in July 2019.
He remained in Grande Prairie residing with his mother Stacey Gauvreau, stepfather Jason Boutcher and sister Baylee until his sudden and devastating passing on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, due to heart failure at the age of 20 years.
Levi attended Crescent Valley School from Kindergarten to Grade 4, Grade 5-9 at Father Gerard Redmond, finishing his high school and earning a GED at Charles Spenser High School in Grande Prairie.
Levi had always had an immense desire to be "behind a wheel", he began working for Roc Dog landscaping in the spring of 2020, and nothing gave him more pleasure than running skid steers, loaders, and mowers etc. If it had wheels and an engine you would find Levi with the largest smile, making Tik Tok’s and videos to proudly boast. After Roc Dog closed their doors, Levi decided to finally try his hand at "The Patch" in the spring of 2021, with CWC as a Roughneck. Levi quickly grew great passion for the hard work, the remote locations, and the "guys”. He was more passionate about manual labour, the long hours, and hard work than any other young adult his age, quickly earning his spot on the rig floor. He continued and pushed through as long as his body allowed, until his official diagnosis with end stage renal failure in February 2023.
Levi then decided to return to landscaping and Rock Saw saw his potential, instantly providing him employment on their paving crew. Levi's final summer working for the crew at Rock Saw provided him everything he was passionate for and loved. He loved his understanding bosses, his crew, the job, and the hours; it was the perfect fit while he navigated his new disease. He felt like he belonged to a family! Levi woke up every single morning come fall, "looking for snow", he could not wait to plow snow in the winter. We know without a doubt, Levi is up there, looking down, sitting behind the wheel of a truck, with an engine he can’t break and an endless tank of gas.
Levi had undeniable presence when he walked into a room, with his unique swagger, contagiously loudest laugh, and quick-witted humor. He had the biggest heart, and social ability to make you feel as though you were the only one in a room. He was a dedicated and loyal friend to many and would go to the ends of the earth to protect them.
He will be immensely missed by his mother Stacey Gauvreau; stepfather Jason Boutcher; sister Baylee Allan; stepsister Jade Boutcher; stepbrothers: Brock and Brody Boutcher; biological father Brad Allan; as well as: grandparents, aunts, great-aunts, uncles, great-uncles, cousins, great-cousins, second cousins, and the plethora of friends he held so closely to.
Thank you to “The Boys” who kept his mind and soul occupied in his last years of life!!
Levi’s Memorial will be on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at the Bezanson Community Church (9801 103 St. County of Grande Prairie). He will be laid to rest in the Glen Leslie Memorial Cemetery (RR 40, Bezanson) and a Celebration of Life to follow at Crystal Creek Hall, Bezanson, AB.

Levi lived down the road from us in Hinton. At the age of 7 or 8 yrs he could hardly wait for it to snow so he could snow blow our huge drive way. Summer he would come over and mow the front yard with the riding lawn tractor then weed wack the edges. He would be so proud to work the equipment and have extra money in his pockets. I have many more memories of our Levi. RiP will miss you deeply Love Auntie Linda
