Rhonda, Randy, Darlene--Your mom, Auntie Lily to me, was a wonderful presence in my childhood. I've always been grateful for the time I spent as a child in her company--sitting at her kitchen table, seeing her tomatoes thriving in the greenhouse (strung up with pantyhose). She was her own person entirely--like no one else: happy but pragmatic; quirky and funny, but level-headed and principled. She modeled mellow to me at one of the most formative times in my childhood. I'm thinking of all of you at this time and the loss will feel now and in the days to come. Sending my best wishes across the years and miles--Deena Rymhs
