Obituary For Linden Jackson-Tegelberg

Linden Brent Jackson-Tegelberg, resident of Beaverlodge, AB, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at the age of 28 years.

Linden was born on a hot August 10th morning, in 1992, at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, AB. It took Linden 26 hours to arrive, predetermining his own arrival time to be extra special, precisely at 4:44am. Linden was a son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Linden loved and lived wholeheartedly and he was loved by so many of the greatest people on this earth today. Thank you to each and everyone who shared in the joy of Linden’s life.

He will sadly be missed by his mother and step-father, Mernie and Mark Wilkins; brother Devon; sister Levi; father Brent Tegelberg (Jennifer); Grandmother Ardis (Rick); Grandmother Brenda (Andy); Grandfather Wayne (Andrea); as well as many aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.

Linden’s Grandpa Bob; Grandmother Iris (Jack); cousins Shayanda and Walter were waiting in heaven for him when he arrived; and he was surely jumped on and kissed by his dogs Dore and Chiquita.

A Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 7:00-9:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home (10005 107 Ave.). The funeral will take place Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2:00pm. Due to Covid, the funeral will be for immediate family only but a livestream of the service will be available five minutes prior to the service on Linden’s obituary on Oliver’s website.

Please give your time, food and/or donations to your local soup kitchen and kindness to those unable to overcome addiction.

I've been struggling to find the words to tell you how sorry I am about Linden. I know I don't need to tell you that he was truly a kind and wonderful person with a giant heart. I know we were just kids, but I loved him very much, and the friendship we had meant and still means so much to me. He taught me what a true friend was, how to find and love my own music, and how funny life could be. The world is a colder place without him in it. My heart is with you all.
