Lindsay Bowers, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the age of 56 years.

Lindsay was born in Springdale, NL, and grew up in King’s Point, NL. Lindsay met his late wife, Lesley Wyse, in Kitchener, ON where they lived until her passing in 2005. While still residing in Kitchener, Lindsay also met his current wife, Chantalle Bowers. He worked as an OTR truck driver until relocating to Alberta. In Alberta, Lindsay worked in the oilfield industry driving truck, until unfortunately he suffered a major stroke in January of 2022.

Lindsay had a strong work ethic, and he was always willing to extend a helping hand.

In his retirement Lindsay enjoyed playing Animal Crossing.

Lindsay will be missed dearly by his wife Chantalle Bowers (nee St. Amand); children: Kaitlyn Bowers (Jeffery Gariepy), Alyssa Bowers, Gabriel Bowers; stepson Alex St. Amand; grandchildren: Zaiden, Alice, and Marcus Gariepy; as well as his siblings Elsie Mc Donell (Randy), Lawrence Bowers (Deanna), Lisa Hart (Owen), Perry Bowers (Cie-Anne), and Amanda O’Reilly (Westley).

Lindsay was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd Bowers and Sandra Bowers (nee Pinsent); siblings Angie Judd (Tim), Inez Boyd (Shawn); as well as his late wife, Lesley Wyse.

A Memorial Gathering will be held for Lindsay on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10:00 am at Oliver’s Funeral Home (10005 – 107 Ave).
