Obituary For Lloyd Bradley
Lloyd Russill Bradley passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital in London, ON, on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the age of 57 years.
Lloyd was born in Beaverlodge, AB, on December 3, 1958 and raised in Grande Prairie.
In his youth he was a kind, thoughtful and gentle soul. He loved most sports, but hockey was his natural born gift and he thrilled family members and many local hockey fans with his talent. Unfortunately he was introduced to alcohol and drugs at an early age, which in turn stole his life.
If Lloyd was able to speak today, he would advise young people to never let anyone talk them into trying any drugs, as that first try may very well cost them their life.
Lloyd is survived by his partner Angie of London; daughter Courtney and five grandchildren of London; son Cameron Lawless (Dallace) and grandson of Grande Prairie; parents Harriet and Lloyd Grande Prairie; brother David of Grande Prairie, as well as many aunts, uncles and extended family.
Lloyd was predeceased by his brother Wade, nephew Wade Jr. and niece Trina.
An Interment will be held at the Grande Prairie Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Dear Mr. & Mrs Bradley and David, So sorry to hear of Lloyd Jr.'s passing. I have fond memories of first playing peewee rep baseball with Lloyd (Disney Brothers Cutters) followed by midget hockey (Knights) and junior hockey (North Stars). Some years later, while playing Industrial League hockey with David, Lloyd (and Wade) made it out to play a few games which was really special. Getting to play with both of them at the same time, while brief, made me smile. Sincere condolences. Randy Repka

My deepest heart felt condolences to all Lloyds family. I grew up playing hockey with Lloyd and were always pretty close in our younger years as we were always the 2 Catholic kids on the team which kind of gave us a special bond between us. Over the years I have tried keep tabs on Lloyd, where he was, how he was doing that sort stuff but unfortunately I lost track of him. I'm so sorry for that. The last I had heard, Lloyd was living in London, Ont. Rest in peace my friend.
