Obituary For Loraine Marie Fehr Shrigley

Loraine Marie Shrigley (nee Fehr), resident of Eaglesham, AB, formerly of Entwistle, AB, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in the ICU at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, AB, at 72 years of age.

Loraine was born in Meadow Lake, SK, on April 13, 1947. She was raised in the quiet, close-knit Compass community, attending Rapid View school. Archie and Loraine committed to marriage on August 4, 1966 and maintained that relationship for 52 years.

Loraine actively participated in Entwistle Community Church for many years. She had a quiet way of helping. Whether it was weekly looking after youth leader’s children, serving graciously with children at Awana for decades, or creatively adding personality to Ladies Ministries, she set the example of sacrifice and faithfulness to her Savior as she could.

Loraine and Archie moved to Eaglesham where they could retire and watch their grandchildren grow up. Just over two weeks ago, Loraine was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive lymphoma. After three different serious health issues, God gave Loraine the privilege of going home.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Archie, daughters Sharon and Sheila along with their spouses and grandchildren whom she enjoyed so thoroughly.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020, at 11:00am, at Pleasant Heights Cemetery in Eaglesham, AB. All welcome.

I just heard your mom passed away Sheila, my condolences to you and Ryan and your family. Mom's are very special people and she will leave a large empty hole in your hearts. But we know someday we will all be re-united with our loved ones before Christ in heaven and what a reunion that will be.
