May the good Lord surround you with his presence, guide you through this hardship and know he is with you. I met Lori at the QEII, Iâ??ve only known her just shy 2 yrs but she sure impacted my learning experience in the medical field! Just her presence was calming & soothing. I went to Rapid Rounds because of her! Always smiling always happy, but you knew her â??momâ?? voice! My prayers are with you and I know she is dearly missed ❤️

Lori was such an unforgettable person. My first position as a new SLP was at the QEII for five months, and when I came back a year and a half later in a permanent position, Lori was one of the people who I recognized immediately. Who could forget her incredible hair! When I thought of 3N, I immediately thought of Lori. She was my go-to person whenever I was on that floor - if she didn't know it, no one would! Rapid rounds were never rapid with her, but they also never felt excessively long. I appreciated how each patient was given enough time and attention from her, every single day. I miss seeing her on 3N and at stroke rounds - the corner of the conference room feels very empty without her there. I'm so incredibly sorry for your tremendous loss, but I have absolute confidence that Lori is already sitting up in heaven, and that she's immensely proud of her family and friends, and the beautiful celebration of life you held in her honor.
