Lorraine Mae Tookey, resident of Edmonton, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 80 years.

Lorraine was born October 16, 1936 in Cadomin, AB, to parents James McQueen and Muriel Graham. She married Ronald Tookey on June 28, 1957.

Lorraine was loving, caring, generous, and a devoted Christian. She taught us all that family came first. She was an avid reader and enjoyed studying her Bible. She was a longtime sponsor of three World Vision Children.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Ronald Tookey; children: Terry, Mike (Janyce), Dale (Natalie), and Kori (Gary); grandchildren: Mark, Jeffrey, Jamey, Dawson, Ava, Griffin, Christopher, and Halle; sisters: Maureen, Laverne, Jackie, and Geraldine; and brothers: Ross, Allan, and Terry.

She was predeceased by her daughter Linda.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 1:00pm, at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Edmonton (13111 79 St. NW).
