Mabel Clara (Hugel) Davies was born July 22, 1927 the youngest child of Adolph and Clara Hugel and passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the age of 89.

Mabel will be sadly missed by her sons: Wayne (Velvet), Brian (Donna), Pat (Alison) and daughter in-law Donna; grandchildren: Jessie, Grace (Marc), Lee, Kristy, Tara, Kyla (Sean), Steve (Julia), Melissa (Phil), Aaron, Travis (Tara) and Cody (Annabelle); as well as numerous great-grandchildren and sister in-law Betty (Ted).

She was predeceased by her husband Ken, son Dale and special nephew Lloyd.

Mabel was born at the old log hospital in Grande Prairie and spent her early years on the family farm south of town. In 1947, Mabel married Ken and moved to the farm near Flying Shot Lake where she remained until her death.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
