Magdalena Garzon Dieto, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at home, at the age of 99 years.

She was born on May 27, 1917 in Alegria, Bato, Leyte, Philippines.

Magdalena was patient and hard working. She loved animals, plants, flowers, cooking, weaving, and gardening.

She was a one worded person; what she said, she said and it could not be changed. She was God fearing and liked her family to be faithful to God. She loved her family and loved to see her grandchildren.

Magdalena will be sadly missed by her daughters and sons: Elizabeth Morada, Alice (Kelsey) Bishop, Osias Dieto, Anatalio Dieto Jr. and Eden Dieto; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, 3 sons, 2 daughters, parents, and sisters.

A Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at 2:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

The Funeral Service will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016, at 4:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home.
