Margit Thomson, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Hythe, AB, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Mackenzie Place, at the age of 88 years, with her daughter Sharon, and granddaughter Raelynn at her side.
Margit was born November 1, 1931 in Hythe, AB to Birger and Clara Lindholt. She loved school which she attended in a one-room school house. Margit moved to Grande Prairie for grade 10 and Business College. She worked as a bookkeeper in Grande Prairie where she met and married Bob Thomson. They moved to the Lindholt farm near Hythe in the early 1960’s where the raised grain, chickens and their children, Brian and Sharon.
