When a familiar name from my past shows up I like to acknowledge the passing of that person. Karen was at CDS and CPS working same time as me. I will always remember her for her smile, friendliness, kindness to the special kids, friendship and fun with staff . God will have blessed this family with many loving memories. Sincerely Janet (Jan) Ophus.

I am so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. Karen was one special lady that experienced some sad losses in her life. Through all that, the strength, courage, patience, compassion and unconditional love she gave to those she loved deeply was genuine and admirable. RIP beautiful lady. Your life on earth is finished and you couldn't have done a better job. You are loved by many and will be deeply missed. Sending my deepest sympathy to Marty and each and all of Karen's family members. May all the wonderful memories you have of Karen comfort you and bring you peace in the days to come. Sincerely, Gloria Cazes

I will always love you mom. You were the single greatest person in my life. I know you are free now to roam the universe, so drop in on your kid from time to time...I will watch for the signs. Till then, give Dad and Deanna my love. Tell my grand folks I will see them all when I get done down here. Give a big hug to my Aunties too, ok? I can only imagine the celebration when you arrived!! Love you forever momma.
