Marvelene Elizabeth Gouchey, resident of Horse Lake, AB, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Horse Lake, AB, at the age of 49 years old.

Marvelene was born on December 6, 1974, in Grande Prairie, AB, to Edna and Alex Gouchey. She was one of four girls in their family of twelve kids; Marvelene had no shortage of siblings or friends to grow up with. She always had a friendly smile, kind words when she saw you, big hugs, and of course, accompanied by many laughs. She had many nicknames over the years however, Marvelous Marvelene suits her best. She had a zest for life that you could see just by watching her. She loved her kids, her family and friends with all her heart.

She will be sadly missed by her spouse Stacy Gladue; sons: Layne and Waylon; sisters: Donalda and Norma; brothers: Hank, Casey, Buddy, Earl and Jimmy; as well as countless family and friends.

She is predeceased by her daughter Shanaya; mother Edna; siblings: Alvina, Dwayne, Winston, and Harry.

A Celebration of Life for Marvelene will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Oliver's Funeral Home in Grande Prairie, AB. (10005 - 107 Ave). There will be a Viewing prior to the service, which will start at 11:00 AM.
