Mary Agnes Trombley, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 93 years.

Mary was born and raised in Elmworth, AB, on December 17, 1928, to Philip and Sophie (nee Sawchuk) Kalischuk. Mary had two sisters Florence and Carrie, and four brothers: Steve, Walter, George, and Victor. She served in the Canadian Airforce in Whitehorse, Yukon, where she met and fell in love with a handsome man named Raymond Trombley. The twins Ray and Daryl were born in Whitehorse, followed by Lynn and Susan in Kingston, ON, Sandy in Grande Prairie, and Kim in Fort St. John, BC.

She was a strong advocate for her children and grandchildren, and she treasured the time she spent with them. Mary was resilient, courageous, and not afraid to use her opinion.

Mary enjoyed sewing and knitting for the people she loved; as well as traveling with friends and family.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Ray (Carol), Lynn (Alan), Susan (Lionel), Kim (Grant), and Sandra; grandchildren: Daniel, Adam, Casey (Connie), Dustin (Sally), Kaitlin (Dustin), Tyler (Jamie), Robbin (Kristin), Cory, Brandon (Shawnee), Kristian, Tiffiny, and Brielle; great-grandchildren: Austin (Janaya), Keegan, Cohen, Chase, Brooklyn, Kaydance, Taylor, Maize, Tristan, Charlie, Jonah, Jace, and Kove; as well as extended family: Ruth and Victor Kalischuk and family, Jane Kalischuk and family, Fay Kalischuk and family, George Kalischuk and family, and the Mayer family.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Raymond; son Daryl; son in-law Zdenk; siblings: Steve, Walter, Carrie, and Florence; brother in-law Victor Mayer; as well as sister in-law Florence Kalischuk.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 3:00pm, at the Grande Prairie Cemetery (84th Ave and 112th Street).
