Mary Withers, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 84 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Howard Withers.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 11:00am at the Bezanson Catholic Church.
Memorial donations may be made to Special Olympics Grande Prairie (P.O. Box 1433, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 4Z2).

What a loss for you all. Mary was one in a million. I have so many memories, which I will treasure. Whether it is the time outside doing chicken" or washing the endless piles of dishes, there was always such joy in spending time with "Mother Mary". Hugs to you and your families. So very sorry to hear of your Moms passing. I always remember thinking how much Mary enjoyed life, I never seen her without a smile. I often think it would be fun to go back in time to listen to their chatter when doing the chicken plucking tours. I'm sure those ladies knew a thing or two.
She was such a good friend to my Mom & they had many good times with her, your Dad, Muriel & Jim.
