Obituary For Mary Hogg Riendeau

Mary Christina Hogg was born in Dodsland, Saskatchewan on March 22, 1932. One of 4 children of William and Karen Hogg. She married Raymond Gerard Riendeau, high school sweetheart, on July 10, 1952. Together they raised a family which now consists of 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. They were longtime residents of Grande Prairie since 1962. Mary passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 with her family by her side. She will be sadly missed by son Gary (Janet), granddaughter Bobbi (Darrel Brock) great grandchildren Noah & Paisley, granddaughter Nikki (Mike Lilge) and grandson Michael; Daughter Judy, granddaughter Carrie (Dean Thomson) great grandchildren Brodi, Drue & Reese, grandson Clint (Danielle) great grandchildren Keira & Kendra, grandson Garret and great granddaughter Seraya; Son Greg (Pat), grandson’s David, Dustin (Linsy) and great grandchildren Reeve, Lola and Jett, grandson Draypr, great grandchildren Presley & Boston, grandson Chase and granddaughter Dani, Albert (Sharon), granddaughter Jody (Ray Gibbons) great grandchildren William and Nate, grandson Mark; Daughter Karen (Lance Hommy), grandson Ryley (Meghan) and granddaughter Haley; Son Tom (Cindy) and grandson Ethan. She will be missed as well by sisters Linda (Dale) Holtby, Doris Baldwin, brother Jacky (Ivy) Hogg, brothers-in-law Richard (Cathy) Riendeau and Leonard (Lorraine) Riendeau, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, her parents William and Karen Hogg and son-in-law Rick Olson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society or a charity of ones choice. A Gathering of family and Mom’s friends will be held at Olivers Funeral Home (10005-107 ave) Grande Prairie on Wednesday, June 24th at 1 p.m.
