Obituary For Maxwell John Teichroeb

Maxwell John Teichroeb

It is with great sadness that the family of Maxwell John Teichroeb, resident of Grande Prairie, announce his passing on Saturday, September 9, 2017, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 20 years.

He had a family that loved him beyond measure, and a multitude of friends. There were so many people that impacted his life and affected his journey, and we will be forever grateful to them.

Max was a dear son to Barry Teichroeb and Lisa Teichroeb, a younger brother to Jacob Benoit and older brother to Ben Teichroeb. Grandson to Walt and Grace Morey of Grande Cache, and Maxine and John Teichroeb of Kelowna, BC.

Max was creative, and intelligent and had the best sense of humour. He loved music and words and often quoted favourite lines to a song that meant something special to him. Max had a soft and generous heart and was a very loyal friend. If he was your friend, there was no doubt that he had your back.

Even through the darkest times, one of the words he used most often was “Blessed”. He understood the value of love and friendship and he never had to doubt that he was loved.

He was taken from us far too soon. It is our hope and prayer that Max’s precious life and untimely death, will give strength to others to make a change and move forward in their lives.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017, at 4:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.) with prayers to follow at 5:00pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 2:00pm, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with cremation to follow.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Lawrence Community Support Association (Box 21331, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 6W7).
