It is with heavy hearts that the family of Megan Michelle Barbour, resident of Quebec City, QC, announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at the age of 26 years.

Megan was born in Clarenville, NL, on April 27, 1994, to Danielle Critch and Lenny Barbour. Megan grew up to be a true Gypsy soul and spent many years working throughout the provinces in Canada, including Saskatchewan, Alberta and Newfoundland. Megan was most recently working as a welder in Quebec City.

Her great love was for her son Damian and her partner Logan. She also loved tattoos, travelling, and animals, particularly her dogs Sadie and Miley. Megan enjoyed listening to music, practicing photography and modelling.

Megan will be sadly missed by her mom Danni; brothers Travis, Ceygean and Ethan; partner Logan and family; son Damian; best friend Rodney; grandparents Will and Hazel; father Lenny; grandparents Len and Teresa; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.

She was predeceased by her uncle Jeffrey Critch; brother Brandan Butt; and grandparents Bina and Johnny Critch.

A Memorial Service will be set and held by the family in both Newfoundland and Grande Prairie at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in Megan’s honour to a Suicide Prevention Resource of one’s choice.
