Michael James Gaunt’s battle with cancer ended on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the age of 73 years. Mick was a resident of Grande Prairie, formerly of Beaverlodge.

Mick was born August 10, 1944 to Francis and Eileen Gaunt of Beaverlodge. Mick was a hard-working, devout catholic with strong ties to community. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife Judy “Marge”; daughters Tami and Holly, sons Tony and Dustin; grandchildren Zack and Felicia; brothers Jerry and Tom (Sheri); and sisters Ellen (Rene) and Kathy.

He was predeceased by his father Frank, mother Eileen, sister Pat, and brother Greg.

Prayers will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at 7:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.). Fellowship to follow.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018, at 11:00am, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bezanson (10115 98 Ave.). Father Jeyapaul Packiasamy presiding.
