Obituary For Michael MacAlister
Mike MacAlister, lifelong resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away suddenly at home on Friday May 29, 2020, at the age of 48 years.
Mike was born in Grande Prairie, AB, on February 18, 1972. He was a Red Seal Millwright and owned and operated Randco Millwright. He was also a certified high-tech redneck.
He was very relaxed, laid back, kind, giving and funny. Mike loved cars and anything mechanical he could get his hands on.
He will be sadly missed by his close friend and business partner Lisa MacAlister; children: Michael Catt, Amber (Kelsey) Heitrich and Kristen MacAlister (Jordan Evans); grandchildren: Joshua and Max Evans; mother Carol MacAlister; brother Monte MacAlister and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins
Mike was predeceased by his father Doug MacAlister.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00pm, at People’s Church in Grande Prairie (11850 108 St.).
In memory of Mike, memorial donations may be made to Bandaged Paws (9920 91 Ave. Grande Prairie, AB T8V 0G3).
