Obituary For Monica McBride Bzowy

On Sunday, May 20, 2018, Monica passed away peacefully at home in Rycroft, AB.

Monica was born March 31, 1949 in Spirit River and raised in the White Mountain area. Monica married Eugene in 1972. They worked construction for a couple of years together before settling into their home in Rycroft and started raising their family. Monica worked at the Rycroft Hotel for many years. She went on to own the Bottle Depot. In her retirement she loved going to ball games. She enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Eugene; children: Derrick, Terence (Tracy) and Shila (Andrew Nystoruk); and grandchildren: Kira and Shayna Bzowy, Duncan and Linden Nystoruk.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Rycroft Community Hall.

Memorial donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation (800 College Plaza 8215 112 St. Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8).

Our sincere sympathy to Gene, Derrick, Terence and Shila and families on the passing of Monica! Monica was a quiet lady but whenever you met her her she had time to visit!. I remember Monica and I taking Terence and Dallas to hockey in Laglace and if you wanted to find Monica on a game night you could find her at the ball diamond or at the arena! She will be missed!
