Jim Gow, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Edmonton, AB, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the age of 90 years.

Jim was born July 30, 1933, in Peterborough, ON, and lived a fulfilling life as a great-grandpa, grandpa, father and husband.

Jim loved hockey and was a proud supporter of watching his grandchildren play and his son coach around Alberta.

Jim was predeceased by his wife Joyce and son Ken.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, at 1:00pm, at People’s Church in Grande Prairie (11850 108 St.).

Those wishing to honor Jim’s life, can donate in his name to the Heart and Stroke foundation (heartandstroke.ca/donations).

A Livestream of the service will be accessible 15 minutes prior to the service on Jim’s obituary on Oliver’s Funeral Home website.
