Nadia Okonski, resident of Hythe, AB, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 95 years.

Nadia was born on January 1, 1926, in a small village in Ukraine. She married her husband John in 1948. They immigrated to Canada in 1950 and started a new life.

Nadia was a gentle and sweet lady. She had a kind and caring heart. She loved animals, especially cats. Nadia worked hard on the farm before moving to Hythe Pioneer Home in April of 2008. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nadia leaves to mourn her son Mike (Tammy) Okonski; grandchildren: Jason Okonski, Allan Okonski, and Travis (Mandi) Okonski; as well as great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Okonski and Brooklyn Okonski.

Nadia was predeceased by her husband John in 2008; son Alec in 1953; as well as her son Steve in 2006.
