I met Nancy at Grimshaw Group Home in the early 90s, she followed me around the house, which annoyed me....lol then she invited herself into my room and then I finally said something.....from that day on we had become inseparable. 2 yrs later, alot of laughs, alot of AWOL nights and she was leaving the Group home to go back with her parents. I cried when she left and the staff had to seperate us and hour before because they knew how much she meant to me, then and even to this day. Nancy had a great sense of humor, said it like it was and had no filter!! Thats why she was my Best Friend. I was sorry to hear of your passing, I will never forget the times we had at the Group Home, your smile and shyness you had was contagious!! You truly were an amazing person, I will never forget you my friend!! I am sorry I didnt hear about this sooner, you know I would have been there to hold your hand and say goodbye. It saddens me that your gone and we will never have the opportunity to laugh together anymore. Give my kids a hug from me in Heaven, love you forever my dear friend.....its hard to let go but I have to in my heart your memory lives on. Forever your BF Tina (Cecilia)

I will always remember hearing you laugh every time we spoke of Sheila and the funny things she did, and your Sis-inLaw Karen and how the buffer swung her around so fast unexpectedly. Never got old. Laughed hard everytime. I'll always tell those stories. ❤️
