Obituary For Norman Roy Marth

Norman Roy Marth, resident of Valhalla Centre, formerly of Wembley, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Beaverlodge Hospital, at the age of 77 years.

Norman was born July 12, 1940 in Wembley, AB. He was raised on the family farm and attended Wembley School. Norman spent his life farming in the Wembley, Hythe, and Valhalla Centre areas. He also drove truck for his brother Werner and worked at G.P. Masonry.

Norman spent many happy summers fishing with his parents at Two Lakes, and later on at his favorite fishing holes. He also spent time showing ponies with Jean at many Peace Country Fairs.

He will be sadly missed by Jean, his companion for 35 years; his faithful dog Bella; brothers: Heinz and Curtis and their families; special cousins Theresa and Ethel and their families.

He was predeceased by his father Frank, mother Minnie, brother Werner, and nephew Terry.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017, from 2:00-4:00pm, at The Homestead Hall north of Valhalla Centre for his friends and family.

Special Thank You to Dr. Crowe and all the Nursing Staff at the Beaverlodge and QEII Hospitals for their excellent care and compassion shown to Norman over the past year of his illness and to the ladies of Valhalla WI for their support and the luncheon.
