Paul Michael Gougeon, age 41, passed suddenly on Sunday March 16, 2025, in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Paul was born on December 16, 1983, in Valleyview, Alberta to Desiree Gougeon and Michael Smith. Paul is a beloved father of two children, Kaylee and Landen.

Paul was a dedicated service rig employee, who held many positions on the service rigs for several years. His career started at Savanna Well Servicing and ended at Tree line Well Services. He was a loved and well-known employee as well as friend to many in his professional life. He prided himself in his work.

He is survived by his sisters Stephanie, Tiffany and Ocean, his brother Tristan, his father Michael and numerous family members as well as close friends.

He is predeceased by his mother Desiree, his brothers Matthew and Kyle, his grandmothers Faye Gougeon and Ona Smith as well as his grandfather Gord Smith.

His passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew him.

His Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer of 2025.

The Viewing will be held on Friday March 21, 2025, from 8:00 to 9:00 pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home (1005 107 Avenue) Grande Prairie
