Obituary For Paul Stedel
Paul Stedel, born October 6, 1921 in Bashaw, AB, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Hythe Continuing Care Centre.
Paul spent many years farming in the Valhalla Centre area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and playing crib with friends and neighbours.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Virginia; sons Richard (Barb) and Roger (Gail); daughter Dianne; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his sister Ella.
He was predeceased by his parents Julius and Martha, brothers Lorenz and Arnold, and grandson Scott.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00pm at Valhalla Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to STARS (10911 123 St. Grande Prairie, AB T8V 7Z3), to Hythe Continuing Care Centre (Box 100 Hythe, AB T0H 2C0), or to a charity of one’s choice.
