Obituary For Paulette Anne Stark

Paulette Anne Stark of Bezanson, AB, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, at the age of 55 years.

Paulette was born October 1, 1962 in Smokey Lake, AB to Iven & Olivia Snisarenko. She moved to Grande Prairie, AB in 1966 and was married to Ken Stark in 1979. She moved to the Stark Family farm in Bezanson where she resided for the rest of her life.

Paulette worked for the Bezanson School for many years then retired to the farm to be a stay-at-home mom and farmwife and everything that went along with it. She was a surrogate mom to anyone in need and there were often more than just her own children living under her roof.

After her children had all grown up, she started working for Lefty’s Café in Bezanson. She loved her job and working for Ray and Raelynn. She loved the people, the environment and everyone from the community that she was able to visit with.

She loved her grandchildren deeply and worked to make sure they always had what they needed. She also had a passion for animals: horses, cows, dogs, cats and exotic birds. Paulette loved her trips to the mountains, horseback riding, camping with her family, as well as the occasional trip to the CFR or somewhere tropical. She will be lovingly remembered by anyone who was blessed to have had the chance to know her and was dearly loved by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Ken Stark; children: James (Deanna), Blair, Devin (Amber), and Shania (Jordan); mother Olivia Turner; brothers: Darrel (Jenn) and Warren (Linda); grandchildren: Alexis, Tyson, Abby, Paige, Emily and Cameron; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Paulette was predeceased by her father Iven Snisarenko, father in-law Donald Stark and nephew Tyrell Stark.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, at 1:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation – ICU (10409 98 St., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 2E8) or Canadian Liver Foundation (424, 17008 910 Ave. NW, Edmonton, AB, T5T 1L6).
