Peter Davis Beaudry, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Valleyview, AB, passed away suddenly on April 24, 2017, in his home, at the age of 59 years.

Peter was born Marcy 18, 1958 in McLennan, AB, and was raised in Valleyview. He also spent some time with his sister Ivy in Greenwood, BC.

Although Peter had suffered much pain from physical injuries in his young life, he never complained and was always ready to help people. He volunteered his time helping others, volunteering at the Metis Local in Valleyview as well as the St. Stephens Catholic School in Valleyview. While living in Grande Prairie, he volunteered for Metis Local 1990.

Peter liked to stay active: playing bingo, going for walks, walking his sister’s dog, and cleaning his house. He also loved to dance the two-step to country music.

He will be sadly missed by his twin brother Paul Beaudry; sisters: Ivy Browatzke, Anne Reber, and Yvonne Reed; as well as his children, grandchildren, great-grandson, nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Mabel Payou-Beaudry and Solomon Beaudry; nephew Darrin Browatzke; special friend Grace Papastesis, and daughter Delhia Papastesis.

A Funeral Mass was held Monday, May 1, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grande Prairie.
