Obituary For Peter von Illberg
Peter von Ilberg, resident of Grande Prairie, formerly of Victoria, BC, passed away on January 23, 2018, at his home, at the age of 51 years.
Peter has probably stocked a shelf or served you in retail in Grande Prairie. He has always had a joke or a wry observation to share. Peter was kind, a great listener, and a loyal friend. You could hear his laugh from a mile (or an aisle) away.
WOW lost a hero of the alliance. Peter lived life on his own terms.
He will be sadly missed by his brother Günter, sister Tina, nieces Courtenay and Kimberley, and sister in-law Judy. He will be greatly missed by his friends and co-workers at Safeway.
Peter was loved by many in Grande Prairie. We are touched by the outpouring of support, generosity, and funny stories.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018, at 6:30pm, at Better Than Fred’s in Grande Prairie (9903 101 St.).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grande Prairie Storm (Box 625, Grande Prairie, AB,
T8V 3A8).
