Obituary For Phyllis Faye Burns Quinn

Phyllis Faye Quinn, resident of Beaverlodge, AB, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018, in Grande Prairie, AB at the age of 66 years.

Phyllis was born April 8, 1951, the second eldest child of Frank and Mary Burns.

She was a compassionate, kind person who dedicated the majority of her life caring for others. Whether it was her family, a child in day care, or an adult she was caring for, Phyllis gave selflessly, thinking only of others with little concern for herself.

Phyllis will be sadly missed by her children: Anthony (Brandi) Quinn and Robert (Ann) Quinn; grandchildren Carli and Kasper; mother Mary Burns; and sisters: Florence Hoermann, Aggie (Bruce) Wideman, and Joyce Florence (Sean Holven).

She was predeceased by her father Frank Burns.

Prayers will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at 7:00pm, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Beaverlodge (1107 1st Ave. West).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Viewing will be held prior at 10:00am.

Memorial donations may be made to Grande Prairie Hospice Palliative Care Society (Box 21215, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 6W7).

So sorry to hear of Phyllis' passing. We enjoyed regular chats - some serious, some comical - during her time at PW Hospice. She left a huge footprint on our hearts.
