Phyllis nursed with my mother in Grande Prairie, Jane Littleton, many years ago. She knew me as a little girl and then later on as an adult. Both my mother and I lived in the same condominium as Phyllis. She spent many years on the board and was respected for her contributions to the building. I had many great chats as well as time spent decorating the atrium for christmas with Phyllis. She was loved by all that knew her. She will be missed.

We knew Phyllis because of her long friendship with my Mom, Doreen Cooke, who passed away in 2013. Phyllis and Mom became friends many years ago when they both had ailing husbands. Their friendship continued long after both men passed, and consisted mainly of daily walks, then coffee at Timmy's. When we were in town, we always joined them. I am grateful we had a good visit with Phyllis last September â?? I will miss Phyllis as one of the last local links to my Mom.
