Obituary For Ralph Fehr

Ralph Fehr passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the age of 63 years.

He was born in Rabbit Lake, Saskatchewan, on January 1, 1952, to his mother Elizabeth and his father Cornelius Fehr.

Ralph was deeply compassionate, patient and caring. His love was a gift shared with his family and friends through his kindness and generosity, his guidance and devotion and an endless willingness to help those who were blessed to have known him.

He will be missed greatly by many: his loving wife of 41 years, Janice and their children: Jason (Adrienne), Brent (Shawna), Tammy (Jason) and Aaron (Kirsten); his mother, Elizabeth; his grandchildren: Jessica, Kayla, Mathew, Brooklynn, Joshua, Evan, Owen and Joseph; his siblings Gordon, Norman, Audrey, Irvin, and their families, along with his extended family and many friends.

He was predeceased by his father Cornelius, his sisters Lynda and Lorna, and his nephew Shawn.

A Viewing will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 7:30pm at Olivers Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave).

Ralph’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 1:00pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.). Interment to follow at Grande Prairie Cemetery (84^th Ave and 112^th St.)

In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke of Alberta (Unit 109, 10126, 120 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 8H9), or to a charity of one’s choice.

Dear Aunt Betty: We are shocked and saddened with the news of Ralph's passing. You are in our thoughts and our prayers and our hearts ache for your loss. I(Donna) had reconnected with Ralph a couple of years ago by phone and enjoyed our conversations and reconnecting with him. We have all lost too many this year. Stay strong. We love you and miss you.
