Raymond Ben Sterling, life-long resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021, at home, at the age of 69 years.

He was born on July 14, 1951, the third of four children of James and Winnie Sterling, and raised on the family farm, which was located in the now neighbourhood of Wedgewood. Raymond married Diane Willard on April 21, 1973, and they welcomed their daughter Juanita in November of that year.

Raymond was quite the jokester. He told jokes as often as possible. He enjoyed going to Co-op and the Friendship Centre for coffee with his friends.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Diane; daughter Juanita (Dave) Povey; many cousins, nieces, and nephews; as well as countless friends.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents Jim and Winnie; parents in-law Gerald and Doris Willard; brothers Roy and Rex; sister Ruth; and brothers in-law: Ted, Len and Jim Willard.

A Service will be planned at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions.
