Obituary For Renate Dude Dietrich
Renate Paula Dietrich, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at the QEII hospital, at the age of 85 years.
Renate was born on August 15, 1934, in Wandsbek, Germany. She immigrated to Canada in 1954. She was raised in Germany and lived through WWII, which changed and impacted the person she was. She worked at the deli in the Prairie Mall, as well as the deli in IGA. After retirement, Renate because an associate at Sears.
She loved gardening. She was very creative and enjoyed decorating for the holidays.
She is survived by five step-sons and their wives; her brother Hele (Susan) Dude; her 4 grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, Hans in 2010; as well as her granddaughter Cassidy in 2013.
