Richard Lofstrom resident of Choiceland, SK, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018, in Whitecourt, AB, at the age of 37 years.

Richard was born on December 22, 1980, in Valleyview, AB. He was raised by Eldon and Mary Lofstrom. He graduated from High School in 2000. He worked as a log processer and loved jacked up Ford trucks.

He was a fun-loving joker, happy, helpful, kind, and a hard worker. Richard loved grilled cheese sandwiches and bannock. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Moe.

He will be sadly missed by his parents: Rodney Lofstrom and Mary Louise Delainey; grandparents: Eldon and Mary Lofstrom, and Elwood and Aaron Lofstrom; and great-grandmother Alice Thomas.

A Wake will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, from 6:00-11:00pm at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Valleyview (4304 51 Ave.).

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 1:00pm, at St. Rita’s Catholic Church.
