Obituary For Robert Willson
Robert H. Willson, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 in Grande Prairie, at the age of 86 years, after a long battle with cancer and subsequent kidney failure.
Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Gwen; daughter Lee (Allan) Hayes; granddaughter Shawna (Rick) Thiessen; sister in-law Elaine (Michael) Bladon; brother in-law Don Haigh (Betty Pow); several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Harley and Edna; siblings Betty and Ilene; in-laws George and Evelyn Haigh and brother in-law Ray Ferguson.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 1:00pm at St. Paul’s United Church in Grande Prairie (10206 100 Ave.).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the QEII Hospital Foundation - Grande Prairie Cancer Clinic (10409 98 St. Grande Prairie, AB T8V 2E8), to the Grande Prairie Hospice Palliative Care Society (P.O. Box 21215 Grande Prairie, AB T8V 6W7), or to a charity of one’s choice.
