Obituary For Robert Wilson

On Friday, March 11, 2016, Mr. Robert James “Bob” Wilson of Grande Prairie, formerly of Calgary and Peterborough, ON passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years.

Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years Elizabeth “Betty”, their children Karan (James) Deck, Cheryl (Steven) Matthews, Daniel Wilson, and Connie (Gary) Shillington. Bob will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Brian, Adam, Jennifer, Pierce, Ashley, Matthew, Brittany and Talitha; great-grandchildren: Haize and Damin; siblings: Belva Pethick, Sally Callander, Steve Wilson and Charlie Wilson; sister in-law Cathy Wilson, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Bob was predeceased by his son David Wilson, his parents James and Mable Wilson, sister Vedra Dunkling, brother Jim Wilson, brothers in-law: Ron Pethick, Ross Callander and Ken Dunkling.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

thank you dad for everything . the teaching of everything I know , being there when no one else was and never failing to have time to talk to me and making things better. You always found the good in a person and you said to me find the good in someone and work with it , don't try to change them . Our family will never be the same know that you are gone .
