Obituary For Robin Dale Neufeld

Robin Dale Neufeld, resident of the Rimbey, AB area, formerly of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 42 years.

Robin was born in Grande Prairie to Rod and Sherry Neufeld, where he resided for six years. The family then moved to Grovedale, AB, where he spent many great times with his brother Norm and sisters, Amber and Karin.

After the passing of his father in 1996, the family moved to the farm where Sherry was raised, and her parents resided. Robin soon decided that he wanted to be on his own and moved to Grande Prairie.

Robin entered the working world, quickly finding a passion for his job in the oil patch. His career path started with pipelining, followed by boom operator, and then to lead hand. Robin’s career found him working in places such as farmland, but also in the rugged mountains. Robin was happiest when he was busy at work and took his career seriously.

Robin enjoyed life to the fullest from riding his bikes, snowboarding, going to the gym, hiking, fishing and being with his family.

Robin will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held for Robin on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Throness family farm by La Glace, AB. (733006 Range Rd. 80).

Memorial donations can be made to the Bethel Church c/o the La Glace Youth Group (RR 1 Site 9 Box 33 Sexsmith, AB T0H 3C0)

Robin was the weirdest, quirkiest, most fun loving person I have ever met. His absence will leave a hole in my heart for the rest of my life. You're free now, Robin. Fly high above the clouds. Love, Rachel.

My deepest condolences to the family and close friends of Robin. I knew Robin during the good old days in Grande Prairie. He was a kind soul. Was always very sweet and friendly. We had some good times together, and I am very shocked and saddened to hear of his passing, and especially at such a young age. Robin....I know your journey wasn't always an easy one....but I hope your soul is free and you are with loved ones again. We will miss you. - Jackie
