Rodney Waltz, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 62 years.

Rod was born in Dawson Creek, BC, and lived in Hudson Hope, BC, Fort St. John, BC, and finished High School in Sexsmith, AB. He worked as a Welders Helper, then as a Furniture Technician at City Furniture in Grande Prairie for about 13 years.

Rod liked to keep to himself. He was more on the shy side but remembered all the good times growing up and talking about it with his sister Cheryl.

Rod loved to go fishing with his brother Darryl. He also loved his truck/camper unit and looked forward to the start of camping season.

Rod will be sadly missed by Cheryl (Doug), Corrie, Tracy, Darryl, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rod was predeceased by his father and mother Victor and Lorraine.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date as his sister and niece live in France, and hope to come in the next few years to Canada.
