Obituary For Roger Antoine Chauvin
Roger Antoine Chauvin, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the age of 70 years.
Roger enjoyed camping and traveling. He spent some winters in Arizona to escape the Northern Alberta weather. He was also a good gardener and enjoyed bird watching.
He is survived by his mother Brigitte Chauvin; daughters: Thérèse Diane Chauvin and Evelyn Chauvin; son Richard (Kala) Chauvin; granddaughters Miranda and Sadie; sister Thérèse Chauvin; brother in-law Walter Chledowski; two nieces Jocelyne and Michelle (Robert); as well as grandnieces grandnephews, great-grand nieces, and great-grand nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Jean-Gilles Chauvin; grandparents Chauvin and Brochu; many aunts and uncles; as well as cousins on both sides of the family.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 3:00pm, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.). A private interment will take place at a later date.
As Roger loved bright colours, the family asks that you please wear bright colors to the Funeral Service.
