Obituary For Rosalie Van De Riet

Rosalie Van De Riet, resident of Points West Living, Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of DeBolt, AB and Chetwynd, BC passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017, at the age of 61 years.

She will be sadly missed by her siblings: Fern Burton, Buck (Loraine) Van De Riet, and Holly (Bruno) Keutzer; as well as many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great great-nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was predeceased by her parents, Buster and Fern Van De Riet, her sister Violet Fumerton, brothers in-law Thomas Burton, Jim Fumerton, and Albert Lacey, nephew Donald Burton and her special pet Snoopy.

As per Rosalie’s wishes, no immediate service will be held. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in Lone Prairie, BC.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, (10001 101 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8X 0X9).

    To Rosalie's family. You have lost a precious family member. Sorry for your loss. Many of us will miss her, together with you. I will remember her gentle spirit, her pleasant attitude and her love for everything good, including the color purple! She contributed much to my enjoyment of each day at work. Bless you all as you continue your journey with only the memory of a dear loved one.
